Our Dahlgren office is currently seeking a Subject Matter Expert -EMI/EMC Test Engineer responsible for setting up, and conducting MIL-STD-461 testing of military and commercial electronic systems. Selected candidate will develop detailed test plans for conducting tests for electronic systems and components, set up the system under test, conducts the test in accordance with the approved test plan, and monitor and record responses. In addition candidate will analyze test results and develop detailed reports containing findings, conclusions, and make recommendations for the test article. The selected candidate will be part of our brand new EMI Lab/Test Facility in Dahlgren. The work is expanding and we need a SME who will hit the ground running.

Requirements:

Must have an in-depth knowledge of MIL-STD 461 requirements and experience with MIL-STD-461 test methodology, procedures, and test equipment. NARTE certification a plus.

BS Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Physics, or Mathematics and a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience. Equivalent military training and work experience in the E3 disciplines may be considered.
Excellent communication and analytical skills will be the key to the selected individuals success.

The ability to obtain/maintain SECRET level clearance is required; current clearance preferred with the ability to obtain a TS Clearance as necessary.
